Can I predict when my USPS package will be delivered?
The USPS website has tool that details “Service Commitment,” or the time frame they are committed to fulfilling when delivering your package.
If you want to look up Service Commitment, here’s how to do it:
- Go to this Linkopens in new tab
- Enter the origin and destination zip codes, as well as the ship date. Then click continue.
- The page will then give you expected delivery dates for each service.
Please note that only USPS Priority Mail Express is a guaranteed service, meaning it is the only service you can claim a refund for if the delivery WAS NOT made under the Service Commitment.
All other services will strive to meet their Service Commitment, and for the most part they do. But there are no refunds available if packages are delivered past the Service Commitment.
